We have expanded our server capacity to meet growing demand for live Bitcoin on-chain data. An increasing number of websites, applications, and private dashboards now pull data directly from Bitcoin Lab servers.

From May 2, 2026, API rate limits have been increased.We have expanded our server capabilities to meet increased demand for live Bitcoin on-chain data.

From May 2nd 2026, the API rate limits are increased.

API rate limit policy

  • API token requests now allow up to 200 requests per minute and 3,000 requests per hour per token.
  • Traffic from the same IP address is capped at 800 requests per minute and 12,000 requests per hour across tokens.
  • General /v2/* API traffic has a daily IP cap of 10,000 requests per day.
  • /v2/info/* endpoints allow up to 30 requests per minute per IP address.
  • If a limit is exceeded, the API returns 429 Too Many Requests with a Retry-After header.
  • Temporary blocks may last up to 30 minutes.
